The University of Balkh represented by their Chancellor Prof. Mukamil Alkozia and the Governor of the Balk province represented by General Atah Mohammad Noor appreciate the work of the Ärzteverein für Afghanische Flüchtlinge (AFAF) e.V. in the regions of Kabul, Balk, Herat, Nangarhar of Afghanistan.

Afaf e.V. enabled their since 2003 various scientific courses for doctors and universities lecturers to support the Afghan capacity building in their local health systems.
